these are working with the smart life app and alexa integration. but all traffic is redirected to china and you need to have smart life connected to your alexa account. to get rid all of this, just flash the esp8266 inside the smart plug to a new custom firmware: tasmoto [[https://www.tasmota.info/|tasmoto]].

we will use tuya convert, to hack the old firmware [[https://github.com/ct-Open-Source/tuya-convert|https://github.com/ct-Open-Source/tuya-convert]]
